When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. When you use the app, we store the places you pin, photos you upload, notes you write, and your favorites — this is your travel journal data, and it belongs to you.
Photos you upload are stored securely and are only visible to you. We automatically compress images on upload to save storage and improve performance. We do not use your photos for any purpose other than displaying them in your journal.
We store the locations you choose to pin (cities, countries, landmarks). We do not track your real-time GPS location. Location data is only what you explicitly save in the app.
We use trusted third-party services for authentication (Google, Apple sign-in) and data storage. These providers have their own privacy policies and adhere to industry security standards.
We use row-level security and encrypted connections to protect your data. Access to your journal is restricted to your authenticated account only.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Visit the Delete Account page to start the process. You can also request a copy of your data by contacting us.
This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please reach out through the feedback option in the app.
